Recognition for our contribution to international mobility and internships

Our university stands out for the internships our students undertake in companies in Catalonia, and for our students’ international mobility, according to the VII University Ranking put together by the Knowledge and Development Foundation 2020. This means the University’s enjoys first place for the highest relative performance group in both categories, further proof of our many strengths as an institution.

The category of in-company work placements in the region, where our University ranks as a high-performance group, measures the percentage of students who have taken internships within Catalonia in relation to the total number of students who have taken internships. This underlines the close relationship our university has with companies, allowing us to open doors to new opportunities for knowledge applied by students.

As for international orientation, our university is one of the leading universities for foreign teaching staff, which measures the ratio between teaching and research staff (PDI) with a nationality other than Spanish as a proportion of the total PDI.

In this context, our university has also stood out in the field of student mobility, which shows the ratio of students taking exchange programmes abroad. This is evidence of the international focus that defines our university.

As for teaching and learning, the University stands out for our graduation rate, which measures the percentage of enrolled undergraduate students who successfully complete their programme of study. Similarly, our university excels in the category measuring rate of degree performance: this rate measures the relationship between the number of credits passed by students and the total number of credits enrolled.
