In the most recent edition of the Eureka Awards, the prizes for the ten best projects in the field of innovation were presented, as part of the conference organised by Eureka in Amsterdam. Eureka is a Eureopean initiative by governments to foster tech projects in collaboration with other organisations, aimed at developing innovative products, processes and services. One of the ten Eureka Awards 2019 went to a former student of our university's Double Degree in Law and Business Administration & Management, Antoni Abellán. Abellán is CEO of the Helion Technologies company, which uses helicopters and drones in new applications to provide services such as cleaning the blades of wind turbines used for wind energy, or putting out forest fires.

Antoni Abellán first began to take an interest in the world of entrepreneurship and innovation when he began his studies, and from the very beginning he received the support of the UAO CEU Chair on Family Business and Business Creation (CEFYCE), under the entrepreneurship section, as part of CEU Emprende. One of Abellán's main collaborations with CEFYCE was to take part in the Fifth Experiential Entrepreneurship Days, held on 11 March 2019 in the university's Undergraduate Hall.
