Winners of the International Video Award

At the beginning of the year, our university's International Office launched the International Video Award. Its aim was to encourage students to create an audiovisual insight into the experience of studying abroad. The competition required an account of life abroad by a student from the University and one from a foreign student who had spent several months on our campus.

The contest was split into two categories: a video of our own students living abroad and a video of exchange students' experience at our university. This double perspective shows two faces of the same idea, each mirroring the other.

We can now reveal this dual vision of exchange students as we announce the winning videos of the International Video Award.

The video that best represented the benefits of studying abroad, both on a personal and academic level, was by Marketing and Commercial Management + Advertising and Public Relations student Carolina Rodrigo de Briones, who made a video about the months she spent at Saint Thomas University (Houston, USA). In the video, she highlights the vast diversity of the city and the University itself, and the wide range of activities they offer.

On the other hand, the winning video on the experience of studying for a year or semester at our university was made by Anna Bugaychuk of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her video explored the personal treatment she received at the University, and the friendships and experience that have helped her change in a positive way.
